Iran’s ‘A Hero’ to go on screen at the 2021 Adana Film Festival in Turkey.

The 28th edition of the Adana Golden Boll International Film Festival in Turkey has been scheduled to screen Iranian feature ‘A Hero’.

The film directed by renowned filmmaker Asghar Farhadi is about Rahim (Amir Jadidi), a working-class man separated from his first wife, with whom he has a stuttering young son, who has spent three years incarcerated for defaulting on a debt, but is given leave for two days, during which he tries to turn around his fortunes, but quickly finds himself caught in a web of white lies.

The Hollywood Reporter predicted ‘A Hero’ as Iran’s submission for the next edition of the Academy Awards.

The Adana Film Festival aims to screen international films by outstanding filmmakers. It hosts a wide range of works and provides a rich experience for attendees.

The 2021 edition of the event will take place on September 13-19.
